How it all started...
Five families and God's leading, that's the beginning of our story here in Argyle, Texas. God had been working long in the hearts of Argyle families that He had something special He was going to do here and He put vision in their hearts to, "Go, and make disciples" (Matthew 28:19). Tim Bach felt it, too, God's leading for a new community in Argyle that was committed to discipleship, to deepening personal faith, to changed lives. So, in the fall of 2019 Argyle Community Church was born.
These original five families continue to serve as the Church Leadership Council, working hand-in-hand with Pastor Tim and his wife, Sharon, on management practices, organizational decisions and financial oversight for the church.

Expanding the vision...
Three years later, Argyle Community Church thrives by staying true to its original vision to make more and better disciples in Argyle, Texas. Currently meeting at Argyle High School, ACC owns undeveloped property on highway 377 in North Argyle and is in the process of purchasing the Argyle First Baptist Church property adjacent to the Argyle Post Office. Should this sale go through, ACC will utilize the current First Baptist facilities for mid-week Student Ministry & special events only. Sunday services will remain at Argyle High School at this time.
In January 2026, ACC plans to begin new construction of a permanent worship center on the First Baptist property.

Where we are headed...
While we have never needed fancy buildings to make disciples, we know that having a permanent home is critical. Our new facilities on Hwy 377 will be a place where the community of Argyle can gather, learn, play and worship. It will include indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a community center, a preschool, worship area, student facilities, and more.
Fall of 2024 saw ACC begin its Building Home campaign to raise the funds needed for this effort. Currently, ACC is in the process of purchasing the Argyle First Baptist Church property, which is adjacent to the Post Office in Argyle. This new opportunity provides ACC the ability to provide a mid-week home for our middle school and high school students immediately. Long term, our vision is to build ACC's permanent facilities here, in the heart of Argyle.
