**Opening Prayer:**

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with open hearts and minds, eager to learn from Your Word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

   - How does understanding this freedom affect our daily lives?

5. **Adoption as Children of God:**
   - Discuss the concept of adoption in Romans 8:15-16. How does this change our identity?
   - What does calling God "Abba, Father" signify about our relationship with Him?

6. **Assurance of Salvation:**
   - Revisit John 10:27-29. What assurances do these verses provide about our salvation?
   - How do these assurances impact your faith and evangelism efforts?

**Follow-Up Exercise:**

- As a group or individually, write a reflection or prayer expressing what it means to be a child of God and the security found in His love.
- Identify one person this week with whom you can share the message of salvation or demonstrate the love of Christ through a specific action.

**Closing Prayer:**

"Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing the depth of Your love and grace through Your Word. As we leave this discussion, help us to live in the truth of our salvation and to share it with others. Equip us with Your Spirit to walk in faith and to reflect Your love in our communities. We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen."
